Local dealer has no allocations and no ETA for any

This is a little disappointing. I know they move a lot of cars so it seem s odd to me. Are the allocations trickling out or are they all gone until some specific time?

Just be patient. There will be plenty of them a few months after release.

I saw a bunch released less than an hr ago for east coast dealers

Exciting!

When's the latest time they'll take orders for the 2021 model year?

Production slots are starting to trickle in. We received quite a few for Feb production.

as time goes on I imagine they will be ramped up. If you are dead set in getting the car from that particular dealer then just put a deposit down and ask them to get you dialed in on the first available allocation they get.

My local dealer has slots but their attempt to order a non-comp 6MT for me is being ignored by BMW. Ah well. The weirdness of the situation is draining my enthusiasm for moving forward pretty quickly.

Definitely more comp allocations out than non comps

I have 4 comp slots for every 1 non-comp.

manual is going to be amazing
