I can only find one picture that has the level of detail to be able to compare. Hopefully it doesn't de-rez. But, if you can zoom in to the reflector you can see that it goes all the way to the reflector and is tucked all the way around. Also note that my installer did not do my door handles.

IMO, you've got a bad install. If I had to guess they used a template and tried to fill in the gaps where the template didn't fit quite right. I'm pretty sure my installer cut every piece and did not use a template.

Edit: Found another that has decent resolution for the front end to compare.
