Hey Everyone - First post here! I'm looking into a G82 right now. Very particular on the spec I want and it seems like I found what I'm looking for. Here are the details:

2023 M4 Coupe, Skyscraper Grey Metallic, Manual, M Carbon Bucket Seats in Black Marino Leather, M Carbon Exterior Package, Executive Package, 19/20 M Double Spoke Black Wheels, etc.

MSRP: $91,695

I'm getting $4,800 off MSRP before BMW Loyalty. Here's what the lease payments look like:
$1,299 tax included
$5,000 drive off
36/10
55% residual
California
Tax rate - 10%

Would appreciate any input on this deal. Thanks!

This month's rate is 4.99, but a dealer can mark it up.

BMW webpage shows 5.99 as the base rate as of now.

He’s in California, looking at an M4 stick with buckets…not an easy sell. That and the market is changing. Good for him, though!

Looks good what's the MF?

I assume drive off is fees, first month and some tax?

Only thing I would consider is not doing a 10k, I would do 12k per year. If you know you drive why not get miles now vs later? Unless your not going to need them. Run the math on overage fees you maybe ahead or may not.

1300 a month inclusive of tax is solid especially in California and with your particular spec.

Congrats

Depending on when you look at Edmunds its always lags ... Best place is BMW app to see the base/best rate for your area.

Welcome and congrats on the new M4! Excellent choice on the number of pedals.

Other than the drive off fees, which I don't know what it includes, it looks like a pretty decent deal, and you did well getting the discount!

Hey everyone, I just got back from South Bay BMW they will let me order a M4 Base as MSRP. They were 10K over just a few months ago. I think the M2 is stealing some of the thunder from the M4 and the market is changing. I went to go look at an M2 they had in the showroom. They wanted $20K over MSRP. They said I could order one for $7500ADM. No thanks. I believe by the end of summer dealers are going to be begging for buyers.

I like this theory. Please let it be true. Also inflation reducing has got to be a factor as well

M4 demand is slowly catching and meeting demand needs ... if you historically look... The 4door M3 is tops for sales, followed by the coupe then coming in last the convertible. So discount wise it's in that order from most to least practice.

Price wise a full spec M2 is quite a bit cheaper than a M4 so yeah...options

Just make sure the M4 is MSRP but isn't MSRP with jacket up rates as if you look... Those markups can add thousands to your bottom line over the course of the loan.

Also interest rates are killers and what folks could swallow 3-6 months ago is outside their reach or willingness to pay.

That's exactly right, the issue is not just the increase in pricing due to inflation but also the increase of short-term interest rates due to fight inflation, it's a double whammy for buying a car. I know people are getting some deals oand that's probably the only way I'm going to buy am M4. I lease so either the lease residuals go up and with some discount towards cap reduction.

At the end of the day the values of the current m's will hold. Just have to get over the idea of paying high fee's to do so. Not much you can do beyond paying cash.

You have it completely wrong, historically the two door outsells the 4 door many times over. The convertible is last when it comes to sales, but it’s like 5:1 two door vs. 4 door.

I have it somewhere in my post history from a couple years ago, but M4 still outsells M3 even in NA.

Here’s one source that only shows WW, but approx 111,000 (vs. 34,000 F80)

https://machineswithsouls.com/2022/0...-buyers-guide/

Quote:
The F82 was produced from 2014 through 2019 in Germany at a different plant from the F80 M3, with over 111,000 worldwide.

This is one of the most informative things I have seen in awhile, and I would not have guessed that M3 outsells M4 nor that the AWD Competition is the top selling style as well (USA)

But that’s what I am looking to get the M comp xdrive variant of M4
