I've bought & driven enough RWD BMWs including some very "pure" models such as the Z4M Coupe etc. but it's time for AWD for me as I want an M that I can launch hard at th light without burning the tires |

The delay isn’t all bad though, it gives time for the RWD cars to sort out initial teething issues while giving more time to tune the AWD for maximum performance. |

Using the listed curb weight (whatever it might be) it should give customers a pretty good idea of where their spec will stand vs the curb weight. As opposed to curb being the lightest version and options just piling on, which seems to be the perception sometimes. -a customer can add lightness (carbon buckets, skip exec pack) -not many more significantly heavy non-performance add ons (driver assist, sunroof) -weight adding performance add ons (carbon brakes, track pack) but one would expect those would be accretive to track performance whatever weight they may add -open question, will there be other options that "add lightness" (eg is the carbon fiber pack for more than show) |

Hi everyone,
1) Is there any news/update regarding a potential availability for ordering the G82 AWD in Germany? 2) Is there any news/update regarding a delivery month for the G82 AWD in Germany? PS: As you all might know they say Summer 2021 which to me would mean a car delivery in Summer 2021 (June/July/August) and not as I sometimes wrote here a SOP. Because a SOP in Summer 2021 would result more like in a Fall 2021 delivery when you calculate a production cyle of around 3 months. May some of you could clarify and update. Thanks! Garfunkel |
