Have faith Colin mate. I've no doubt you and your dad will have a G80/82 skittles combo sometime in the future

It's funny how a Ford product can really resonate with people and get them excited (Bronco) but the next generation of the freaking M3 doesn't. How the mighty have fallen.
Again, I'm holding out judgment until I see the car in real life, sans camo.

Still loving the 4CS at the moment Chris! I just worry about how it’s going to sound, the last of the M4’s with the OPF filters were very muted.

If I do it’ll be RWD manual with CCB’s though.

Maybe the Ford camp isn't full of whiney babies?!? That new Bronco looks like crap. It looks like a revised version of a 2004 Jeep Liberty with Toyota FJ design aspects.

I see the "Acceptance vs Like" debate on the forum; I am in the Acceptance camp.

Unofficially, it's the last of the five stages of the G8X Reveal Process for those not in the Like camp:
1) Denial
2) Anger
3) Bargaining
4) Depression
5) Acceptance
I suspect most of these people will end up at stage 5.

Nobody has a choice but to accept it because this is what BMW is shoving down our throats. The displeasure of the new design has been voiced for a good while now.

Pretty sure that's exactly what they wanted. Mission accomplished.

Ehhh! They aren't shoving anything. They have a restaurant with particular menu. For those that don't like what's on the menu, there are plenty of other restaurants. I don't think the seafood restaurant down the street is shoving anything down my throat simply because I don't like seafood.

That is possible. It'll appeal to their target market (...which I definitely am not) much like the new crop of BMW's (...which I definitely am; I've evolved with the brand over two decades). I still think it looks like crap.

I do see an interrupted kidney bar in close proximity of the license plate on the latest pics. Is it just me or can someone confirm? Thanks.

Some will turn to other manufacturers for the rest, stage 5 awaits.

That rear fender and the potential to fill up that gap with wide rubber gives one the chills! Lowered and planted, this thing would look MEAN!!!!

I was pointing to the gap in the area of the front plate as can be seen on the reposted pic above.

So far I think the M3 is wearing this grille much better than the 4...

...and at least the 4-door gets to keep its hofmeister kink.

That was my point. I would option a 6MT without ACC to avoid the asymmetry.
