I spec'd mine with Fiona Sport Seats only since I didn't find the CF seats comfortable, but I imagine they'd still look good. Actually the CF seats I sat in in a preowned G82 were Fiona Red. (The car was AW).

Note: I could not get the Speed Racer theme song "here he comes, here comes Speed Racer" out of my head after seeing those seats for hours after I left!

IMO, it's just too much dark blue. I'd pick a different color interior simply for contrast purposes, which would make both the exterior and interior pop better.

I guess it's subjective (see pg 7 &15 here and others for perspective). I was originally going with Silverstone because I thought TBM was too dark as well. I felt SS was a safe bet since I just had it in my M5 LCI and KO was too risky. A brighter blue (like Portimao) would be too Superman for me.

That all went out the window when I saw a similar car several months back at a local dealer as it was being delivered to a lucky customer (he actually let me sit in it). The blue popped in the sunlight and the red was A LOT less brighter than the pictures, so I changed my spec. It's an M4 so I was looking for something sportier and Silverstone now looked so plain to me. It's all in the eye of the beholder.

A few of my favorites for TB color variations and Fiona contrast. Mine should pop because I spec'd the 825M bicolor wheels rather than black wheels again.

Quoting myself because I was mistaken. When I read Fiona, I was thinking Fjord Blue. So blue on blue, no. But TB with Fiona red? Hell yeah!

My bad.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Definitely how I had it in mind with the cf Fiona seats and the sexyness of tanzanite blue with the red calipers

Good luck with your spec, whatever you end up going with! BTW This was a TB/ KO Kyalami Orange G83 at a local dealership that I ruled that out. More like pumpkin color in person. (for reference)

Nice G82! Love the interior color combo! Bet your G82 would look good on some Al13s!

For those of you with TBII / Kyalami orange combos, do you have any regrets with it being too bright or anything?

Same for anyone who ordered TBII / Tartufo. I'm wavering between the interior color choices at the moment. Currently have a G22 w/ TBII / Cognac that I love the color combo on.

Doubt it extends lead time, since it and Dravit Gray are among Individual colors on the ordering guide for less than half the price of truly Individual colors. Mine didn't seem to take any longer (nearly a year ago): ~4 weeks from order accepted to scheduled for production, and final assembly date fell on Friday before allocation week dealer received.

Scroll through this thread and judge for yourself, and borrow leather samples from your dealer for a couple days. Back when I was debating interior colors, I drove around with samples lying on the passenger seat, so that I could glance at them in various light conditions. I concluded (just personal taste) that Kyalami Orange was too bright for my taste, and that Tartufo was classy without being too dark.

Then I switched from chasing a G80 allocation to ordering a G82, and switched to Silverstone. Go figure ...

I ordered mine end of April (completely modified an existing allocation in 112) and changed to TBM II, and eventually full Fiona. Order received by AG May 9. Currently in Transit on the Don Carlos with an ETA at NY Port TOMORROW😁!! So essentially 3+ months.

Took your suggestion (and also the dealer happened to have a used one with orange in stock)...disappointingly, I think I'm going to have to nix it. Too bright for me as well. Something about it is tugging at my subconscious and while I can't quite put my finger on the vibe when I'm sitting in it, it's not the vibe I want to feel.

Tartufo's next on the list to check out, I really like my cognac in my M440 w/ Tanzanite but it doesn't appear to be available for the M4.
