Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I was never that impressed with it on my F82 Comp because it struggled to hook up properly…but my god, the AWD G82 just digs in a f**ks off down the road like you wouldn't believe! And that was on a slightly damp road and an outside temp of 8C Love this car!!! |

No, I believe it's enabled as part of the running in service at 1,200 miles but I haven't tried it before now - I just felt 2,000 miles was about time to start stretching it's legs a bit more

It's not part of the running in service. It's available from the start, just not recommended until the service is done.

This is from the G80 Manual:
"During the first 3100 mile run-in distance, the Launch Control should generally not be used. The Launch Control is active from the factory. The activation of Launch Control is not restricted to the 1200 mile running-in check." |
