I don't think you have to but I already had bump stops from another manufacturer and my installer said he thought it was a good idea to leave them in to be sure I had enough travel with new springs.

Btw how come the part numbers are different on these sites compared to eibach? Is this some us/europe regional thing?

Not sure exactly why, but yea it does seem to have something to do w the region. Possibly where they are manufactured.

E10-20-049-01-20 - front only G80/G81 on EU sites
E10-20-049-10-20 - front only G80 on US sites

E10-20-049-06-22 - all corner G80 EU
E10-20-049-10-22 - all corner G80 US

E10-20-049-01-22 - all corner G82 EU

M3CS front Eibach only installed today, alignment next week once they have settled.

The are definitely stiffer in comfort but not to the point where they are uncomfortable at all. Hard breaking felt fine, turn in feels good although the back end did come round a bit but it was raining so I need to test again in the dry. They feel very close to stock and I’m really happy with them so far. Once I get the wheels aligned and get it to the track I will update.

The car looks much better now that the gap is reduced and once I get the 12mm spacers all round should look awesome.

First time someone mentioned they're stiffer than stock, strange.

I’ve never driven a non CS M3 xdrive Comp so I can’t comment on the feel but for sure they are stiffer, maybe 10% but it is noticeable. I wonder what the rebound setting is for these shocks compared to other M3s. it could be that it’s just a bit more crashy over the small stuff and that’s what gave the feeling of being stiffer. I’ll know if I like them for driving fast once the weather improves and when I get to the track later this month.

Maybe that's why, haven't seen cs owners post here.

Measured the drop 24hrs later:

(no weights added, and there should be full tank of fuel and driver passenger in the car weight 70kg each)

Stock was 640mm front and rear were 621mm.

Lowered:
Front 619mm and 626mm
Rears 621mm and 621mm

Odd that the drivers side is slightly higher, I’ll give it a little more time and measure again.

I have only the Eibach fronts installed.
Honestly I wish it was slightly lower. However even with this very mild spring I almost hit my lip on my dumb stepped driveway lol

Man, I don’t know if I would mess with the suspension on a CS. No argument that it looks better but I can’t see where these would perform better than your stock suspension.

I’m not a hater because I have them on my car too but it’s a base and I just do some spirited driving on the curvy roads around where I live.

The front end beeing stiffer than the rear and the unbalanced behavior that i saw on a few occasions made me get the MP has kit.

On the cs I would definitely put front and rear springs. If any.

I think I agree but I will give them the benifit of the doubt until I get to the track, if I find them bad I’ll take them off and probably get the KW HAS Kit. Would go 20mm front 5-10mm rear, MAX!

It does look way better but I don’t want to compromise the drive or handling for looks. If it works, great, if it’s feel wrong, I’ll take them off.

I agree, I think I may just get the rear 10mm drop springs before I go to the track, based on what I have felt so far.

I went with whole set to .ake sure the spring rates were the same. My mechanic advised me also and for 400 bucks, why not.

Solid approach for sure.

For the most part the suspension mods are for looks. After my first set of garbage AST springs (yes still bitter), I’m convinced it takes a lot of development/money/time to improve on the stock setup from a performance perspective.

For me the front only Eibach springs were the last thing to try before going back to stock.

I purchased Eibach after reading your post and others on forums.
