Yes sir, I had them mounted last night. Brushed Black is more bronze than black though. Wasn't the color I thought but I am very happy with the outcome.

First, they look great on your car. Works really well with the Dravit since it has some warm tones in it.

Second…there is something about BC Forged colors many of the grays and blacks have some brown/bronze in them.

I think the next set I get, I’ll get them raw and have them coated locally.

This a great idea and at least you will be able to determine your color choice. I had a little anxiety figuring out what color to choose.

HRE has a bunch of 5 spoke Y wheels (P101, 521M, R101, ...) any specific reasons you preferred the 521M over the others?

Thank you sir! So on your first question, yes - I do rub in reverse - on those little fins within the fender liner when the wheel is turned to ~1/2 lock. I've seen this be a pretty common issue when you lower the suspension and run a 285/30 up front, but am going to do a little Dremel work on the outer set of fins to hopefully solve the issue.

The other option is to get the fender replacements from RKP that iND sells on their website, but $900 for two pieces of plastic is ridiculous (in my opinion).

On the choice for the 521Ms vs. other wheel designs from HRE - it was an easy choice for me as I was able to pick this set up used here in the G8x classifieds. Meaningful price difference vs. speccing from new and I liked the design + had great conversations with the seller, so we went this route.

Yup, this was a big part of it once I found the used set and was trying to find another set of photos of the 521's.

Going to run these in silver for the rest of this season and likely next...but the idea of changing the finish to a champagne / bronze has definitely crossed my mind thanks to the RS6 photos.

Brushed black, but they have a bronze tint. Not over the top and I actually like them.

Never heard of them before, only one wheel showing on their website however they do have a photo of the G80 with a new wheel which is looking very nice indeed.
