I just checked mygarage and to my surprise after 2 and a half months, order status moved from 111 to 112, Scheduled for Production. Every time I called, Genius would provide me a start of production week#. So when they told me week 5 for the past several weeks, I was expecting a "build week" of 7. Whatever it is, I'm just happy to see some movement. Hopefully, it will continue moving forward.

How does the week 5 crew feel about the 50 anniversary emblems?

Seems like the March builds are getting them as a standard option.

Do we try try to add them/ push the build by changing a configuration/ order oem badges?

Emblems can always be added on later no? I don't care much about it. I want the car in my driveway by March. I celebrated way to much just for production scheduled lol. The wait has been painful.

Those special roundels are a nice-to-have at this point IMO. I'm not risking another 1 or 2 month+ delay just for 50th anniversary emblems. Now if they were including another +50hp, I may reconsider!

Haha I'm driving a company 21 explorer at least. It ain't no 11 second car though!

Im curious, I noticed the other threads with builds has a ton of owners even like the week 50 threads. Are there just that fewer allocations with our week 5 build? I don't see too many owners since week 50. Allocations got even lower?

Getting a new murano soon to replace the Sorento. 2 new cars this spring. Yippee. Yes I think the allocations got tighter q4 going into 2022. That's my guess. My dealer gets 2 per month

Definitely not risking a delay either. Especially since there’s always the chance things get worse. Would suck to get pushed to a June build then the LCI comes out.

I changed my build to the BG too. I was torn between that an AW.

I originally had tanzanite blue but I was worried the curvy body lines would be hidden with such a dark color so I went with BG with gloss black accents. Looks so good and you can see all the lines on the car. I always loved that type of grey. I had one of my previous cars wrapped nardo which is similar.

Yea I'm happy with it. I love the glacier silver and it was the closest I could get to it. After a white on red 335, I wanted a change to silver on black. A classic look imo

Picking the color was by far the hardest part of this process. I went from frozen dark grey (couldn't justify the cost initially), Brooklyn grey, to IOMG, portimao blue to San Marino blue and ended up with frozen dark grey. My wife and kids will tell you guys we wasted a lot of time when in the end it came back to why I wanted the car in the first place, was when I saw a YouTube video of it in frozen dark grey.

Frozen grey is sick, makes the car looks so aggressive but My OCD would drive me nuts with FDG since you can’t polish it and I don’t want to drop 6–8K on ppf. Any little scratch and I would have to get a whole panel repainted lol

Yea, it wasn't in my budget for anything above 1k for paint. BG was the perfect fit.....unless Toronto red? lol it reminds me of the red 911s. I'm torn again. Lmao

I love tanzanite blue, and since I am sold on Tartufo interior, it was an obvious choice. However, I had the same concerns about the dark color hiding the lines a bit. I saw one locally on an overcast day and it sealed the deal for BG. Might be the only pick on the car I still think about daily.

I ordered this weekend mst intakes, jb4 and bms spacers, just to get that out of the way. Dont plan to buy anything else tho.
