Just called genius and found out im build week 3.

Black Sapphire Metallic Fiona Red base M4 with executive, laser, carbon fiber trim, shadowline, black calipers and 826M wheels

Ive never figured out what build week I am. My vehicle is in the paint booth as of today.

Pretty sure if you're in the paint booth, you're probably week 2 or 3. Not too sure as this is my first time ordering as well.

As of today I received my vin number and In the production queue.

Checked mygarage and made some real progress!. Im now in "Awaiting Carrier Assignment"

Unexpectedly found a local allocation yesterday for wk3. Had to submit my order yesterday asap. Now I'm vacillating on the paint and interior. As of now, it's the following build:
M4x
Tanzanite Blue over full Kyalami Orange
M carbon Buckets
Executive Pack
Parking Assistance Pack
826M bi-color w/red calipers
Shadow line lights/laser lights
Carbon interior
Wireless charging
M carbon exterior Pack

I think the exterior/interior combo is fine. I'm personally not an orange person. I would have done Tanzanite over Silverstone.

Yeah, I could play it safe and go with Silverstone, but I had Tanzy over Silverstone on one of my F80s and I wanted to change it up. Still not completely sold however

The orange is a solid choice. That what i would've done with your color choice. I had a hard time choosing between FR and KO

Orange would have been my first choice if I wasn't going for Toronto Red, it looks amazing IMHO

Yup, unexpectedly found a local allocation this past Tuesday. Had to come up with the build asap that day (hence my vacillating with my options). Went to 112 following day. This morning scheduled for production, with completion by Jan 24.

Now we all know here, no one is holding their breath with these dates…

I would love a light colored interior but that just spells disaster with a 5 and 3 year old.
