Could be the parking assist package- not sure if any other week 4 folks have this package that already received a VIN/moved into production?

no Carbon Buckets. Just Carbon internal trim and external Carbon package.

Just called Genius and they said no change and still a week 4 production. we shall see....

I called when I found it said order received and they said it still says week 4, but he suspects that it would change. They don't know to what. This is the first new bmw I've ever ordered and was supposed to be exciting, but now the experience just sucks.

Well that crushes that theory! Who knows what the heck is going on w/so many different seniors we are seeing played out. Might just be suppliers issue for multiple parts and BMW don’t have clear insights into what they are receiving in this unpredictable supply and demand era we’re in.

Yes, doesn't seem to have any order/queue. I was put in ordered received state (111) mid Oct. Since then just bouncing around. I am not sure what causes the moves.
There were folks that ordered much later with more options than I have and are nearly at the stage of picking their cars.

Yeah, I'm beyond frustrated. Back in Oct I had 3 dealerships I was talking too. Local dealer here had me at spot 1, so I went with them and got my production number within the same week. The other two dealerships were in my home town in IL and they said I'd be 5th in line. I've been scoping out other weeks on this forum and a member on here put his name on the list of the dealer in IL I was contacting in late October and was 5th on the list. That OP is in production and is probably going to get their car soon. Frustrating how bmw prioritizes their back logs. 🤦🏽*♂️
