Well. Those of us who got their cars delayed to 2022 got screwed
Looks like there is going to be a price increase for cars produced in 2022.
My car was suppose to be produced in week 50 and it got kicked to week 5. It's bullshit that I ( and others) are getting screwed. |

Canadian prices (even after price increase) is cheaper than US market as posted in the other thread.
Its too early and i would wait until there is any official information regarding US market. |

Does this affect me if I've already done my credit application and all that? My dealer rushed me (I still took my time) to my place order because they were "afraid" of price increases incoming. According to them my current price should be locked in.

If your car hasn't been produced yet, then yes, I would think it affects you.

Lol if this is true I think I'm out. Was literally going in next week to put a deposit down too. With the production time, the stop sales, the deleting of features and now the price increases mid model year I think I'd rather just spend the cash on other things.

Would not surprise me to see a moderate price hike. Exactly how much we will have to see. My guess is about $1500. It's supply and demand

I’m having this same dilemma, I’ve only ever owned BMW and was looking forward to a 22’ G80X but at this point it’s getting harder to justify, I’m sure the current world situation isn’t helping any of us either

Prices of materials have skyrocketed over the past year, so I'm not surprised at all. Steel, copper, etc. you name it - the price has gone up.
It's unfortunate, but it's also the times we live in.

It's bound to happen given the supply chain issues but i don't think they should be applying the new price to those who have orders in and deposits down. The delays are not the fault of the customers waiting for their cars. I would be ok if they said all new orders past 12/31 are at the new price.

Pretty sure customer orders go as P1 though. Sure a dealer can put a fake customer name but BMW should be able to figure out which dealers are abusing. It will only be till 12/31 anyway.

Yeah all customer orders would get priority 1 status. Considering the volume, it would be hard for an organization this big to add another process to verify if its a real customer order.

Yah. Call me cynical. The way dealerships have been acting these days I don't expect anyone to make it right. I guess time will tell!

I had an extended test drive of an M3P a couple years ago, and really have not stopped thinking about the car. I'm inpatient however, and I just rather get an existing inventory car rather than order. It still looks like order cars will arrive in Dec however. But then again, I'm a true BMW fanboi, and if I could find an msrp unicorn M3/4 AWD unspoken for, I'd rather give that a go. I actually have an msrp 2022 M5C lined up that caught my eye, but do I really want pay $41k (M5C) vs $18k (M3/4) OTD after taking into account my X5 trade. Get this, I got my custom ordered loaded X5 M50i a little after 2yrs ago for $81k OTD and I was offered $79k for it yesterday. I guess that makes up for no discounts anywhere!! I have a couple of M3/4 allocations possible, but don't want to wait. Should I give the M5C a go?? Probably the last V8TT M5. It's to arrive a port 12/10, but the damn RAM stop sale will probably take forever

Price of M4 Competition xDrive has risen here in Spain too, 3 months ago by about 4.000$.
I spoke by then to my dealer and they conserved the price that I had signed before. They did that by adding the extra price as a discount for me.
