The lyrics do say "what did her daddy do?" That and what we see in the video make it pretty clear what happened.

I've seen it many times. I love to watch MTV Classic. Some of the songs I post here are inspired from seeing the videos on MTV. Always loved it. Maybe not for everybody but definitely for me.

Sony Music Entertainment owns the rights to Jimi's music so most recordings aren't available (on the internet).

Jimi's music is on Amazon Prime so it's not free anymore.
