Anyone every figure out what this is? For those of you who do/did have it, were you subject to stop sales or QC delays?

I have it and unfortunately I've been in QC for 8 weeks now. I'm close to just canceling my order. BMW doesn't give a shit about their customers it seems

I don't blame them... Supply chain issues. My G80 was built in 1 week and shipped back in May. Now I am waiting 3 months for 150 status... I'm gonna be patient, other manufacturers are having issues and nothing comes close to the m3 in regards to dollar to fun ratio imo.

Our being stuck in QC IS BMW's fault - They have the parts we need, they're just using them on EVERY other model.

I've had "special identification 2" in my options since it went into production. I didn't haven't any delays anywhere except for the current stop sale at the VPC for the RAM install...no production or QC delay or anything. I asked Genius during build and the rep took about 10 minutes figuring it out. She said its just an internal identifier for tracking the vehicle and not a code for any options removed.

So I think I found out what this means

In the week 3 thread, those of us with parking assist package have had this added to our builds. Those without it don't have it

I also have a ram stop sale and stuck in QC while those without parking assist seem to be moving through

Per the email I just got from Genius: The option for "Special Identification 2" is an internal production code used for navigating within the production facilities. This has no influence on your BMW build.

Completely agree.

I have the code and now I have a RAM stop sale.

I was looking for FB and they called genius about this and they were told its for the new badges. Its absolutely ridiculous that no one knows. This may be my last BMW. This experience has been a complete nightmare and BMW is a mess.

Yup, it tells them to navigate to the factory parking lot because it has a stop sale.
