Any pointers to dealership in BC Canada who can get me an allocation for 23 M4 ? What is the average wait time for an allocation? I read stories people getting it in few days and some wait for 6 month ?

I put my order in for my M4 in May. Still no allocation. They have been allocated several M3s during that time though. They're produced in different factories so they can't just "swap them." Keeping my fingers crossed for a January or February build.

Huh - ordered mine in June, it was built in early October and am hoping for a year end delivery. So bizarre how the allocation lottery works….

Its because mine is manual and individual. But I'm now status 111 for a week 52 build (starts production January 3rd).

I ordered my manual g80 back in march in Thornhill, ON. Finally got an allocation a couple days ago!! They're saying end of January delivery.

Thanks, now I'm trying to get a VIN from the dealer. He gave me a 6 digit production number but not sure there's much I can do with it. I think I read in a post on Bimmer that I can call BMW Canada and ask them for a update or VIN? Anyone know?

Its a bummer that BMW doesn't allow Canadian customers to initially set up their BMW in their garage with a production # waiting for their VIN like the US..

Sorry just saw this.

I went with Atlantis metallic on Ivory full leather with carbon buckets.

I had an F82 M4 manual that I loved. Traded it for an F80 M3CS that I "liked." Both were bought off the lot, but because of supply chain issues, etc I knew I was going to have to order and wait so I figured go with individual paint since it wouldn't add much time in the grand scheme of things.

Once the car hits status 150 (scheduled for production) you get your VIN. The best source of info for tracking is the dealer, so work on your relationship with them Even their info self admittedly is usually a couple days behind.

Wow, that is quite the build. Atlantis is one of my favourite colours. With the ivory interior it will have a Caribbean island vibe! Fantastic . Due post pictures once you get it.
