Curbed alloy - repair options near north london

Uk
Small car park with curved entry lane you can't see in an M3. Rear wheel mounted kerb and put four or five deep groves in the rim

Any recommended forged alloy repair companies people would recommend?

Many thanks
David

Check with your local BMW dealer, most have a short list of wheel repair specialists they use.

Sorry to hear that. I do wonder sometimes whether curb designs, especially on entryways (let's not mention Heathrow's various sadistic carpark entrances, which seem to be designed for Minis only) are deliberately set up wreak havoc on alloys.

Anyway, it may be a bit too far north for you, but Oxmanor Alloys in Oxford are genuine pros. They serve a range of luxury dealers, including North Oxford BMW itself. They have proper precision-diamond cutting facilities and are used to refurbing complex spoke patterns that are characteristic of Ms.

Herts Wheels did a good job for such a deep cut on the outer rim. Went for the cheaper repair as they said they otherwise would have had to diamond cut the while rim to be almost flat. Also didn’t fancy a heat treatment due to welding.

Taking for a road force balance shortly
