Get the harness on the site so I can schedule I'm setting appointments and getting booked out ..... and we're about to release M Mode this week .... on guys with ID 7 ....ID 8 is plug and play ID 7 will need to jump.a.wire ...

G83 just needs coding if you want to have the Euro turn signals otherwise it's just plug n play and simple coding to eliminate the flicker. No jump wire needed. The convertibles are already wired up for separate turn and brake signals.

If you have a euro spec car already (UK RHD drive) , MY23 G82 with ID7 and you get the LCI tails, does it still need a wire and coding? TIA.

Wiring, it shouldn’t because that’s the standard setup, there. Coding it probably does. It was skeptical, but it takes :30 seconds, a cell phone and an enet cable and Bimmer utility.

Yes, but just coding. Very easy to do, yourself. I’m going to update the original post, once I gather all of the info from the posts throughout the entire thread. But, right now, you need to enable one switch that’s disabled in the coding. Check post 256 and a few before and after.

Thanks both. So it's only US spec cars adding Euro spec lights that need the wiring?

Have someone able to do the coding for me, if above true then I may be looking to get a set pretty quickly!

Yes. If you don't mind retaining the US function where the turn and brake signals act as one then all you need is to get a set of US spec LCI taillights and the simple coding to enable feature 11 is all that is needed.

You only need to run wiring and do some more advanced coding if you wish to separate the turn and brake signals or if you get the euro set with amber signals like I have and separate the turn and brake.

G83's only require coding irregardless of which lights you purchase as they already have the respective wiring.

That's actually a good question are they wired for separated brake and turn ? Anyone from thenUK to comment ?
