Has anyone solved this conundrum? Getting an entire badge on the grill, that includes "Competition"?

I know there have been ample threads on this topic, and I did my best to search for them, read them, and try to find the answer before asking.

This may sound boujee or douchey, but I paid for this thing to be a comp, I want the mofo to say comp. If you don't care, you do you boo.

That said, if no one has cracked the code, I may reach out to some friends in the industry to see if I can have some made.

If anyone would be interested in that, let me know.

Are you saying the vorsteiner grill doesn't have enough space for the badge?

I got my badge from IND. It was a bit spendy for what it is, but they save you from having to intricately cut out 3M.

The cheaper option is to get a single side marker, peel off the logo (it's the exact same size) and fab new tape.

Took my oem emblem and it fits very well, no need to buy a new one if you ask me

That’s honestly the first one of these that I’ve seen that didn’t just say m3/m4. Are you saying that’s your stock grill badge? I can understand how that would have fit.

Yes, Its the stock badge, There’s enough room under the M4 logo to add the « competition » part. The competition part wont be 100% flush but honestly its almost impossible to notice and looks better with it imo

Interesting, I bought a V grille (REAL) from Kies Motorsports, but my sensors dont fit like the ones you guys are all showing in pictures. They would not fit with the sensor rubber AND they stick out about 1/2 inch. Did you guys have to do anything special to get the to fit as pictured?

Vorsteiner grill? I think their first gen one was of questionable quality and fitment. The sensors fit perfectly in my nwcarbonhaus grill.

Fuck sakes...I am so annoyed with this shit. I have a brand new Vorsteiner grille sitting to be installed and I was dealing with this same badge conundrum. And everything I was seeing said 'competition' part doesn't fit so I ended up ordering a simple 'M3' logo at IND two days at and that little shit cost $200 shipped.

Now I am hearing, I could have used the one from my stock grille without issues? Even though I was told by the seller I wouldn't be able to. For fucks sake. And by spending the extra $$, I am also having to settle for just the 'm3' logo and not 'competition'.

I don't think it's that clear cut, unfortunately. Some grills can fit the whole badge, some can't. In either case, you probably could have used your existing M3 badge, plus or minus the Comp part. If you post a closeup pic of the badge plate on the grill we could probably tell you whether or not you can fit the whole Comp badge. $200 for a badge is fucking insane regardless.

You need around 20mm of vertical space to fit the comp badge.

I emailed them right after (order placed Monday) and didn't think I had gotten a shipping email yet so asked to be canceled but apparently it's already on the way. Go figure cause I never got the shipping email.

$95 for the badge, $50 for shipping to Canada (that small fucking badge) and convert USD to CDN, got fucked for $200 for no reason.

I guess I will just use it and leave my stock grille intact for whatever reason. Not like that one will ever sell for anything? But it's not ideal having to use just the 'M3' one and not 'M3 Competition'. If I can use my stock I would still prefer that cause it will competition.

I will post a pic when I can, but I dropped off the grille at the shop this morning to have it PPF'ed and we will likely do the install some time next week.

I have the abs vorsteiner and could only fit m3 logo. I wanted to put competition but I used it somewhere else. I stole it from my oem grill.
