Yes, and the Alfa was on Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires while the M3 was on the normal Pilot Sport 4 tires and not the P-Zero Corsa or Cup2 option....
I was really surprised the M3 beat the Alfa. I was expecting a narrow win for the Alfa with a remark at the end that the Alfa was on track tires and the M3 not.... Both great cars for sure. Last edited by frank70; 03-18-2021 at 03:14 PM.. Reason: a bit drunk when writing at first |

Not a fan of the new design just curious is there a reason why BMW publish the Ring time when the car is release?

I didn’t know her and never met her but she lit up the screen every time she was featured. What a wonderfully positive person. So sorry for your personal loss.

F82 Comp RWD, PSC2. Probably will go PZero Corsa with AWD. |

That’s in the area of 25s faster than when the F8X launched in 2014. That got to be close to or a record generation to generation performance launch gap?

Member footie’s guess seem to be bullseye even if he wobbled and admitted he actually thought of the AWD but I’ll give him the victory since I kind of lead him down that path unintentionally. Congrats footie!

Early F8x were rather twitchy. Later cars had better DME mapping. The jump isn't as massive if F8x CS are used as the comparison.

Actually pretty astonishing taken the superior aero and weight of the GTS. It seems impossible. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with what you guys did here with this new car. Last edited by solstice; 03-18-2021 at 10:23 PM.. |

If the G8X pulls a 7:28~7:29, it will indeed be quite impressive. That would be 6~7s faster than the M4cs factory time.

So the GTS is 300 lbs lighter with 3hp more and was priced at what $130k? That the G8X can keep up with that having four seats ,much less aero and have a quite comfortable ride is a down right astonishing achievement. Finishing 6s ahead of the CS is pretty damn impressive as well. Nevermind the none special models...Not to mention keeping up with the AWD 600+ hp M5C. What a car. Btw Porsche’s own 992 C2S time is 7:25. So 3-4s faster than the G82, in range for the AWD? Anyhow lucky you got the TT, you are safe Last edited by solstice; 03-19-2021 at 02:34 AM.. |
