As far as I am aware, no one makes a 1-to-1 carbon fiber replica of the OEM grille for the G8X platform. If I'm wrong about that, please correct me.

I know there are many aftermarket options for grille replacements, many of which are carbon fiber. But I am one of those weirdos that genuinely likes the OEM grille look.

I've put a preliminary feeler out to a high-quality domestic manufacturer of carbon fiber pieces and kits for various high-end cars to see what they would charge to create a mold for the OEM grille and manufacture carbon fiber replicas. I'm trying to do a sanity check with you guys -- am I the only person on the planet that would interested in such a piece? Something tells me that there's a market for a carbon fiber replica of the OEM grille that extends well beyond me.

I’m in the same boat I’m looking for an exact copy of the OEM grill just in Carbon. I don’t like the openness of all the other grill styles

Me too. I think I prefer the OEM grill because I think it looks best with ACC, which I have.

If you have the OEM carbon ducts, the left side directional weave pattern of the grille will not match the weave pattern of the left OEM carbon ducts, unless you also replace them. If I wasn’t so OCD I would have preferred this grille.
