Considering the installation time is 2-3 hours due to taking off the bumper, $450 is a bit much but not unacceptable, I would look around more first, and I suggest also getting everything you want to install that requires the bumper off to take advantage of the time.

Better to DIY this one , you don’t need a lift or any special tools, just some time and care in removing the bumper.

I was about to say; If you have a little faith in yourself and can just work slowly and patiently > This is a perfect DIY project.

Is it easier with a lift? No doubt! But it's not necessary.

FYI: Some helpful videos

Depends. If you use Vorsteiner ABS gloss and have ACC, to properly install you will need to allow for the metal ACC bracket to properly engage the part. Texas Track Works removed it twice. Double your labor. Vorsteiner provides no 5 dollar paper template. TTW deals with aftermarket parts constantly. All shops fabricate to make parts fit as necessary. A small cut, indentation was made on the ABS part to allow clearance for said bracket.

Yeah any shop that charges over 200-250 for maybe 30 mins of labor is crazy lol

I don’t recommend DIY if you don’t have a jack to take of the wheels at the very least. There are two screws that are so difficult to get to even with the wheels off, it’s not even funny.
I’ve taken it off thrice now and I just lift it up put on jack stands, take the wheels off, take both fender liners off, then take the fender off.

The latter sounds difficult but it’s actually faster and makes the task much simpler. All-in-all taking thing off, replacing grill and putting it back on takes about 3 hours. So, depending on where you live 300-450 may not be a crazy high price.

How does $800 sound for grille and 3 piece front lip?

It's maybe 2-3 hours of work at most. I'd expect $125-150/hr.

I got it down to 30 minutes to pull the bumper, most annoying part is the screws holding the bumper to the fender. If you're installing a grill and inlets it could take another hour so 2 hours total... assuming all the parts go in smoothly.

So got in touch with them and they are way over priced and the guy was a complete asshole over the phone and super cocky. I ended up going to FP auto, and I was more than happy with them

Maybe a touch high but quite reasonable.
