Unless the wheels fold under as the car lifts off the ground to take off after throwing a banana peal and half empty beer into “Mr. Fusion”, I don’t want to hear about it. It’s another EV that weighs 4 tons, has numb steering, and zero potential to generate or continue BWM enthusiasm/car culture.

How do you know its weight? I guess I’ve missed it in the article. And how do you know it has numb steering like m2? It’s pretty cool that you have access to BMW prototypes, if that’s the case?

Would bang. Looks like 2+2 at most, maybe even just 2 seater… hub motors like an e-skate is funny. Is this thing going to reverse the motors for braking? Prob a lot harder to manage in a car compared to a 200 lb skateboard+rider

Polestar was my first thought too. I do think those are good looking cars though, so not a bad thing imo

BMW culture and enthusiasm for cars is pretty broad imo. Plenty to geek out about and appreciate for all sorts of things. I love M cars as much as the next guy, but honestly I think the dorky little i3 was one of the best and most interesting cars they’ve ever made. Count me as excited to see and learn more about what’s coming down the road.
