Yeah i drilled screws, i think the part is a cheap piece, so already threw the other away. And surprising enough, it didnt take much muscle as you think, it comes straight up. For what its worth, i wouldnt even swap this piece back to black if i traded the vehicle in ever.

Nice! Yeah I def don’t plan on keeping the stock one around, I have the new part sitting in my garage ready to replace the original one. Just wasn’t sure on how to go about getting it done

Make sure to pre drill a hole, put a big screw in it, doesnt even have to go too deep, and just pull up with pliers, the clips arent holding it in place as much as our minds think.

Did you do it right in the center with 1 screw or 2 screws on the sides?

2 screws pretty much in the center with a 1 screw spacing, but honestly it was so easy i feel like one thick screw would work
