Yeah, I guess we weren’t so lucky for a quick pick up from port like we hoped. Curious how turn around will be.

It usually takes 2 days after the ship picks up before it updates. We still might have some hope

Yeah that’s what it looks like on the vessel tracker. BMW has updated to “in transit” status however so hoping it hits the seas soon!

Week 48 here. 10 days at Port. Our cars are on the same ship!

I used a local phone here, got in contact, for the first time I am dumbfounded by Genius line. She said my car is at the port in Munich…. How does that work? Does the boat have wheels now?

She meant the Munich Airport - waiting on that C-130.

I mean, i know what she probably meant was my vehicle came from munich and its at the port waiting for vessel assignment. She didn’t seem like she was in a good mood the second she answered the phone. So its whatever

LOL at the boat having wheels comment. I called the Genius hotline just now and he said my car has been at the port for 7 days and right now the M3’s usually get picked up between 12-16 days depending on how many ships are in the area picking up. He made it seem like M3’s have a different timeframe to get on a vessel. This guy was actually very nice.

I'm super curious with my ship headed to Texas, if it'll then swing around through the Panama Canal or if I'll be traveling on land to California..

Oh I didn’t pay for any option. My dealer isn’t far from outside Baltimore. My car lands at the Baltimore Port. I’m just lucky I live close enough that any shipping on a truck from US Port isn’t as extensive as some locations.
