been waiting to build for over a year as we are out here in the high demand pac nw! called hans Day Laborer last week with my patience wearing thin and he snagged me an allocation just last week. so can't complain too much...thought the wait would be another year or 2 so to be status 111 is a blessing!

Hans is great.

One year is crazy. I believe i m on the same boat of waiting almost a year. I placed my order back in Feb 2023 and got allocation a Week ago. well coz of the MY change from 23 to 24.

And now looks like it will arrive in Jan 2024.

Goin into production Mid Oct , we will be hopeful to arrive by Christmas. Remember all the Holidays in between.

Called BMW Genius and they told me my car got pushed back from w37 to w41...it s a white/red 2024 m3 base...one thing that confuses me is that the "build week" means the car finishes production by the build week or the production starts at the build week? the lady over the phone told me build week is when the production begins not completed...but lots of threads here say the production completes at the given build week.

Thats correct.

The production starts that week, takes a week to complete , somethings could be rite. But anyways Welcome to the Club.����

-Ask your dealer what the build week is of your allocation. The build week is the week your car is tentatively scheduled to FINISH production. It will start production a week or two before then.

So the way things are could be 1-2 weeks back and forth.

Talking from experience, ordered 3 bmws before this one. This is the longest i have waited due to high demand of M3's and the MY change from 23-24 makes a difference too.

Hang tight man, its gonna arrive when it will. Somethings you cant control.

BTW where is your delivery?

I ordered out of state at Global Imports and opted for PCD at SC.....

I think it is highly possible since we should be in the same batch for PCD..haha..one thing that concerns me is driving the car all the way back home from SC to Orlando...do you have any experiences or suggestions? I've found some using blue tape or Tracwrap...but it looks like a lot of prep to be done lol...

Well yes, that the way to go Blue tape works fine.

also we need to prep it, but honestly when we are there , we got nothin but time. lol
