There's some conjecture in week 44 and week 45 threads that it seems that only the G80s have any movement in their status and are actually getting to the port.

Anybody with a G82 or G83 that has seen any movement?

When my car arrives I’ll make sure to “never” turn off DSC lol that’s how I crashed my other m3 if you guys didn’t know. I’ll be babying it this time. I’m sure everyone here has had a BMW M, but I’ve seen a couple RWD G80 crashes and just wanted to tell you guys to drive responsibly (while having fun of course).

500hp car will bite you HARD and FAST if you don't respect it - there are no two ways around it. At 23, my E36 scared the hell out of me a few times... that was a fast car back then. I think everyone has to get bitten a few times to really know it, too. The cars have changed dramatically, but the physics hasn't.

Last year a buddy bought his dream C8, also his first real fast one... he was 30, young daughters... fatally hit a pole at 100+ in the rain in the first 45 days. I have a piece of that taillight I carry in my pocket, reminds me that planes and fast cars are remorseless.

Yeah These cars are fast and to people who want to have fun all time time it could cost them their life. Touching story sorry about your friend. I totaled my m3 in 3 weeks that I had it. Cars are expendable your life isn’t.

Glad you're safe. Bought my wife an AWD tank of a Land Rover, ton of adaptive air bags, accident avoidance systems, active assist... happy every day that she and our daughter are as safe as possible in it.
