no idea on the build your own. Ordering & pricing guides aren't out. Still waiting for the full allocation to run so I can see the M4

So I got the call my order finally went to 111 and got production number. Been waiting since October. He said tentative build week 10, and I ca see it now. So how will I know if my week gets bumped due the carbon buckets? Does that show on track status update or do I just sit at 111. I feel like seen those who got delayed. Got updates on tentative weeks. Lastly, they were able to get all my options except the $900 drift analyzer. Dealer said the order kept kicking it out but noted they would be able to fix it when it goes to 112.

Sorry for the questions due to the BMW world.

I can’t claim to be as knowledgeable as some on here, but regarding your production date and any delays due to the buckets, call the BMW Genuises on a weekly basis and they can update you as to whether or not you have been pushed back (or ahead.) It’s unpredictable and a total “wait and see” kind of thing.

Regarding the Drift Analyzer, it’s something you’ll have to stay on top of and I would check back weekly with your CA because the time from 112 to 150 can vary. If it’s a “make or break” option for you, I would let your CA know.

If you have an individual color, you’ll want any changes solidified BEFORE 112 status. Any other color, you have until 150.

I may be out of the loop a bit, but IIRC, it was only G80 that had issues with buckets, not G82. No?

Are they not the same seat? Why would there be a difference between the models?

They are not the same seat. The seat back on the G82/G83 is different. The M4 buckets have a handle to grab to move them forward and the mechanism to move.

G82 seats fold to allow rear passengers to get out
