I am curious why some videos describe 'bent rods have happened to 'someone' - yet, no one here (that I have found) actually experienced bent rods. Are shops installing them for peace of mind or do they actually know the limit?

Someone on one of the facebook grounds posted bent rods some time ago, think they were on a bigger turbo, not sure on the specifics really.

everyone's posting about that one tuner who pushed his car to find the limit of the stock rods. I haven't heard of any other cases of bent rods after that.
