Amidst all the hype I'd totally forgotten it was a RWD incarnation.

As a G82 owner I just admit I wouldn't fancy it anywhere but a track with PS2 and anything less than none dry tarmac.

It's a lot of power and extreme summer tires with RWD and less than ideal conditions. Even good drivers can get in trouble, but would usually play it smart.

If it was a journalist (i.e., YouTuber), they get very limited time in the car and want to push the limits even if 80%, in the wrong conditions can be disastrous.

I've been in plenty of 500-650HP cars, and it's scary to think that soccer moms and teen drivers have access to this kind of power.

My guess is that the CSL was entering a roundabout and it cut-off the other car in question, expecting them to brake for the BMW, and there was impact. But who knows.

Its a pre production car so would have been crushed anyway. Also they give the cars for the product reps to use to speak on when they go in to train the dealers.

Wow!! This is a pretty costly mistake. I recently saw a video where a YouTuber crashed a Jeep Grand Wagoneer during a press run and thought that was bad at 120k. I think these M4 CSL are about $150???? Sheeeeshhh!!!
