Gloss Black Front Lip Recommendations
Anyone have any recommendations for a gloss black front lip? Looking for one that doesn’t require drilling. I know there’s an eBay one that is pretty common on the forum but it’s out of stock.
Also, does anyone have pictures of the lip from Aeroflow Dynamics, NINTE, or AKAMotorsports? |

Don’t buy from akamotorsports, i took the leap out of chance that maybe it would be solid, but no bueno. It didn’t fit well to the painted portion of the bumper.
Edit: I have lightweight on the way as we speak.

Good to know, by that you mean the gloss black on the lip didn’t match the gloss black on the bumper?

Nah, im super anal, i could totally look past the gap between the three pieces, but i kept trying to shift the piece to actually sit flush on the paint and it just would not. After reaching out to their “customer support” it was a month wait for a response to be told, its within their fitment range.

I definitely have this lip sitting in the box it came in, in my garage, and won’t be using it 🤣

Another vote for the Lightweight. I had a Lightweight lip on my F82 and I just got one for my G80. I’m sick of shattering lips so I’m team Lightweight… haha!
If you’re set on the M Performance look, here’s another option: https://modeautoconcepts.com/en-us/c...g81-m4-g82-g83 |

I’m considering the MHC Black one, going to make a separate post, but I’m curious if anyone has info on the fitment between the MHC black one and the eBay/amazon one.
MHC has a video showing removal of the black pieces on either side of the bumper, so my thinking is this might be a better fit, as I understand the eBay one slides over those pieces. https://r44performance.com/products/...80-g81-g82-g83 |

Yup the mounting hole is not visible in the pics so it looks like it slips on top of the stock wings.

The only one that I’ve seen so far that doesn’t slip over the stock wings is the Aeroflow Dynamics one. I’m sure there are many others and they’re probably all over eBay but from what I can tell, the Aeroflow fitment looks pretty good. For me it’s just a question of do I want to cover those stock wings with an MP one or not

I actually am a fan of both styles, with the side wings/fins being covered and with them not being seen. But from all angles, it looks like the aeroflow one fits better with the car.
