I own several "fine" watches, but I just can't live without my Apple watch now. So I just made my own:

Not trying to be elitist, but just get an Omega Speedster, it really is timeless and one of the best. (Hand wound not Automatic)

If you're an E46/E9x purist, you'd obviously get the 321 movement. But me and my G80, happy to wear the new coaxial 3861.

End scarasm. Kinda. ;-)

LOL at E9x purists. I still remember when e9x was blasphemy for e3x purists...

Haha, more of a reference to some of the other threads boiling with vitriol about whether or not the G8x is an abomination in the eyes of the lord, considering the exalted light of the F8x. I've been lusting after a BMW since I was 16, and I love my G80, it's more car than I could possibly have imagined. It's so much more pure than my 8-9 year old Focus, that's all that matters to me.

Big fan of omega. I own a sea master i like blue and red color combos and fell in love with the chronograph.

Huge Omega fan as well. I have a Speedy Pro, and Seamaster Pro Co-Axial. Best thing about them is that they have incredible movements and aren’t too flashy. They’ll never reach Rolex status in terms of desirability or resale value, but they’ll always be a watch enthusiast watch as opposed to an “I have money and want people to know it” watch.

I was fortunate to get one of the OG "automotive inspired" watches a few years ago from my AD, before the current frenzy took hold.

Let's give Heuer their due in this thread as well - I scored a Steve McQueen Monaco (the re-issue, but very very close appearance-wise to the original) a while back when my sister was working at a jeweler and could buy stuff for basically half price. But let's not also forget the Jo Siffert Autavia. Both excellent "automotive themed watch options."

Any Jarno Trulli fans? Another automotive themed piece here. Forged carbon and a cermet bezel. The color scheme is outstanding on this one.

Lol exactly. I just thought it was funny. Ordered too. Mine is in transit much like my M3. 😂

Ball makes great watches, I have owned two different pieces and they are really nice.

I have been dreaming of grabbing the Carbon GT from Reservoir watches. Not quite a modern take, but very automotive focused.

Oh ya baby! My Magnus has arrived. Unboxing photos below.

I gotta say, for >$100, this is worth it. Movement feels a bit heavier and thicker than it should be for a quartz, yet ironically the metal overall has an almost titanium lightness to it. Maybe it's aluminum? Or maybe thin gauge steel?

I'm think what I'll want to do is wear it where people notice, maybe goad them into me faking or pining for the day I can someday afford something with a real ///M on it, and then jump into my G82 and tear oughtta there.

Tried to get a shot of the spinny wheel, and the ///M showing, as well as some of the very humble company this fella will put to shame

I wear this to track days so I can pretend I'm as cool as Steve McQueen driving a 917K.

I used a third party app to get and apply the watch face.

That's a very nice collection 👌

It was a white dial 116520 like yours on a coworker's wrist that got me yearning for a Daytona.
