G80 + 15mm Spacer plus 295/30/20 PS4S, fits?

Got rwd g80, due for new rear tires, thinking going size up 295, seen G82 guys fitting it on stock height how about G80? Stock height and 15mm spacers. No rub at full compression? Often have people in the back seats and trunk full of luggage. Thank you!

You put two passengers in the car and go over a bump and the stock tires rub at full compression 😂
Just run it without spacers first then add a small spacer and see.

I’m sure I didn’t rub, but I want to have a flush stance. I’m sure someone did it already.

The BMW Star tires are made are comprised of half PS4S and half Sport Cup 2. You may be giving up some performance, going to an off the shelf PS4S. BMW only makes the Star tires in the stock BMW sizes, 275/19 and 285/20. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Found a post on facebook with a guy running 295/30/20 with 15mm spacer, about as flush as can be it seems. He has kw has and says no rubbing.

I guarantee that Facebook car will rub with rear passengers and full luggage over a highway swell. No one mentions camber, which is sort of funny, just a small difference (say -1.5 vs -1.7 degrees) can mean the difference between rubbing or not. OP, not sure what the fixation is on 15mm spacers, but 295 rear is an obvious upfit on these cars. I wouldn't make a tire size decision based on a fixed spacer size - just get the tires and go from there. Unless you're moved by the star spec argument above, which is valid but marginal. I think youll find 10mm spacer is a better choice for your load requirment but that's based on me trying about every combination of spacer with 295 and 305 PSC2 but on a G82 with -2 degrees of rear camber.

Thank you for the feedback! Would have to get new lugs and spacers for the rear, just like the look with spacers that’s all.

I have 295 30 r20 PS4'S tires and have BC Forged +12 offset which is the equivalent to a 13mm spacer and eibach springs all around. I drove my car to Nags Head Nc with my wife and I and luggage. It rubbed once going over a bridge joint but the car wasn't lined up at that time. Now the car is lined up and I have it dialed in with a little less camber to reduce wear on tires .

Nice fitment! Thank you. So most likely it be too much for 15mm in my case.
