Me and the gloss black competition wheels aren't getting along very well, and I'm thinking that the "frozen" or "frosted" gold color of the CSL wheels would look pretty sweet–just sandblast & powder coat–done.
I photoshopped a side-on shot of my car (no it's not perfect, the front looks like a 20" but I never claimed to be a pro) to get a good idea for the look and feel (yes, I'm aware the CSL wheels aren't exactly the same as the competitions, but they're close enough for this purpose): Question 2: Is there a market for newish (1300mi) Competition wheels? if so, what are they worth? I chose the top option, but Porsche Silver would also look sick.
I have Apex ARC-8s in Anthracite as summer wheels for my AW E90, and they look great, so that (or something like it, like Gunmetal) might be another good color option. |
