Question Please vote: Alpine White on CSL style gold

Me and the gloss black competition wheels aren't getting along very well, and I'm thinking that the "frozen" or "frosted" gold color of the CSL wheels would look pretty sweet–just sandblast & powder coat–done.

I photoshopped a side-on shot of my car (no it's not perfect, the front looks like a 20" but I never claimed to be a pro) to get a good idea for the look and feel (yes, I'm aware the CSL wheels aren't exactly the same as the competitions, but they're close enough for this purpose):

Question 2: Is there a market for newish (1300mi) Competition wheels? if so, what are they worth?

I chose the top option, but Porsche Silver would also look sick.

I have Apex ARC-8s in Anthracite as summer wheels for my AW E90, and they look great, so that (or something like it, like Gunmetal) might be another good color option.

If you live or drive a lot in a city, curb rash is an unfortunale fact of life. The gold would be much harder to fix.

Just as an alternative, here are some pics that static_void posted of his 826M redone in silver:

I think that looks great. I'm planning to go with a gold that has a lot of silver tint to it. I ordered about 15 samples of powder coatings. I'll post them here when they arrive

I would just get them sanded and re-powder coated tbh...

I think the frozen look would be unique, but would you consider alpine white colored wheels to match the body?
