Those prices seem almost too good to be true.

i spoke with them via whatsapp and honestly at first sight they seem legit, i ask them for the specific wheel color differences and he sends me video with side by side wheel with requested color.

LFI appears to be a very young company in the market! they are based in singapore!

here their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/laforgeind/

i need some detective here!! I am very interested in their csf1 v2 wheels in brushed bronze with oem spec a 8.2kg and 8.6kg and load at 790kg

Company name reminds me of iForged from back in the day. Didn't have the best quality and were nicknamed "I forge wheels".

Price seems too good to be true and probably is. Time to to get a replacement from overseas when your rim cracks/bends is gonna be brutal.

Looks great!

But those are definitely cast/flow forged wheel prices. We all know about Titan 7 and their ability to produce a set of genuinely forged wheels at a remarkable price, but this goes even further. It's impressive if they truly are forged.

While I agree with the notion of paying with PayPal, the issues from these kinds of wheels tend to come a year or so after they've been on, which makes PayPal a bit moot since they're not likely to support the buyer beyond the 6 month mark after the seller has delivered a product.

I'm not sure how one would go about doing this, but I'd want to test the strength of the wheels to confirm they're forged. The roads I frequently drive on devour cast and flow forged wheels, so that'd be pretty important to me. But I could easily see myself running these for a winter setup if they're actually forged

Let us know how it goes! I'm genuinely interested in a set of 19's I could run for winters. But this would be, of course, for next season.

Looks good and at a great price. I know Americans are a little less used to WhatApp generally but it is very common in Europe and the world over. It's the most convenient way to converse internationally and owned by Facebook. I'm not saying it's not used by scammers. While you can't verify the quality of the wheels, this doesn't look like a scam to me. Just a fairly new company. Wheels look good!

I bought my splitter from Unit17 in the UK over WhatsApp. I emailed them and they replied asking for my number and started texting me. Splitter arrived 3 days later

Agreed. You usually get what you pay for…….but, that begs the question (for an aftermarket wheel noob like me), if all these wheels from various brands are CNC milled from the same blocks of 6061 aluminum in the same design pattern, what are you really getting for $12,000 by going with HRE/BBS etc? Better polishing? Colors/finishes? I can go either way with purchasing, but don’t want to be stupid with my cash.

ANRKY are private labeled HRE but cost more.

The biggest difference in the actual wheel is (obviously) whether it is fully forged, “flow-forged” or cast. HRE full forged are over $10k a set with some variance for 1/2/3 piece designs, whereas their flowforged line are under 5k. BBS are the same basic prices.

At some point it is true you are paying for the name…BUT (and it’s a big old butt) there is also the quality of the finishing, color quality/options, and customization of offsets that also play a huge role in the cost structure beyond the fabrication method.

Question for someone with more detailed knowledge…is there any difference in the quality of machine that does the milling in so much as it affects wheel strength or durability by making cleaner or more consistent cuts?

When I was working on the Volvo/Geely project, I got a detailed tour of a Chinese supplier.
Their state of the art facility had lines and lines of brand new 5-axis CNC machines.
It is my opinion that even cheaper brands' wheels that are manufactured in east Asia are up to par in terms of build quality.
