You'd be surprised. Luxury rental car companies make most if not all of their money on 2 types of clients: photo/video shoots that don't even drive the car. Or poor people trying to impress an SO or a group of friends. The people that could actually afford to rent these cars most likely never would or will unless their car is in the shop and even then they'd just go through enterprise exotics at that point. That being said, when you have the kind of money that a csl is nothing you'd just buy the car drive it and sell it after a week or ship your own car ahead of where you're going (and I'm talking from experience on this, my family used to buy a new car every time a tire went flat. Tow truck came from dealership with new car, towed old one away. I legit didn't know changing a tire was a thing until I was 17 or 18 when my date was flabbergasted by the notion of what i had juat done)

Luxury rental vehicles for the weekend is normal in Southern California! I have a 22 BMW M4 Comp B'kly Grey parked in my garage... Its driven only on Saturday's! I prefer to rent another type of luxury vehicle to drive around in Los Angeles/Orange County for the weekend.
