Fjord Blue and Fiona Red interior photos

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Went to see some interior colors today and took photos of the Fiona Red and Fjord Blue, both of which looked more muted than they often look in photos.

The Fiona Red isn't a loud red. It's almost more of a red clay.

Fjord is mellow and muted, not a strong blue.

Here are two edited photos that I think represent what they both truly look like in reality. Hope this is helpful to anyone interested.

Fjord looks great on Brooklyn Grey! Although, the BMW configurator makes it look almost navy, but it is a much lighter blue in real photos.

Fiona definitely looks much brighter in some other photos.

Can’t speak for fjord, but Fiona is a brighter red than what this pic shows.

I just picked my new M3 up yesterday. BSM with Fiona red. I was nicely surprised at the muted red - not bright. Looks very classy.
Agree with MichaelIB 1969’s photo and description.

This is bizarre with how different these four pics are. They look like totally different colors and it shows how phone cameras can distort or enhance colors. Perception is reality!

All I can say is that they looked more muted in person compared to the vast majority of photos I see. Many cameras today are designed to make colors pop, so not surprising. I tried to edit the photos so they closely resembled what my eyes were seeing. The Fiona Red most definitely had a red clay vibe to me. And the Fjord was much more muted than the royal blue you see in many photos.

Let us know what you think if/when you see them for yourself in person.

BTW, you can see in my photo above that the M1 button is definitely more of a pure red.

I mean im biased but only change i would make to my build, possibly, is blue calipers instead of black. Im very picky on color coordination and dont feel there is a better color to bring the blue hue out of brooklyn than fjord. I also think fjord would be bold but by far the best choice on twilight,… and how would i know? Well my e46m is twilight with a silver base twist:

I would also go aventurine red with fjord and do a synth theme and nearly pulled trigger on it but that red reminded me of my grandparents 92 camry to much and just couldnt shake it.
