24 Isle of Man Green Comp X-Drive week 12

I have a 24 on order IOMG for a week 12 Build. I am so pumped. My current daily is a 22 X3m40i. I was looking for some help on colors. I am def going IOMG, but im stuck on interior and the Bi color or black 826m wheels. I am leaning towards Tartufo but Ivory White and Black are in play. I am also leaning towards Bi color but the all black rims look great too! Man the decisions. Any help and input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Congrats bud. So, I wrestled with many of those same questions. Tartufo is beautiful and I am enjoying it. I didn't want something too light that I would deal with jean marks, etc. Black is also kind of boring IMO. Extended leather was worth it to me too. As for wheels. My sons girlfriend was the one who finally stated it the best and locked my decision in. She said, too bright of wheels and it takes away from the rest of the car, the black wheels get absolutely lost. I have the 826M bi color and think they are just right. At the end of the day it's your new baby. Do what makes your heart sing Good luck and happy driving! PS. Included a pic of mine I picked up two weeks ago.

Looks amazing thanks for the pics. Yeh my thoughts exactly on the wheels. I like the all black but they do get lost. And I’m so torn on the interiors. I have cognac leather now which I love. Guess I have a few days to decide but cannot wait!!

My vote is for Tartufo and black wheels... but the bi-color wheels do look good on IOMG!

That's full leather. Extended has the black plastic dash (or Sensatec with the executive package).

Yea do it. Do the full leather. The reason I picked 825 bicolor is they brighter and the design makes the appear larger.

Tartufo and 826M bi color. The subtle contrast on the wheel faces makes a ton of difference. It’s like the best of both worlds, dark, but sophisticated. They dont disappear wrapped with black tires against black wheel wells..

Ivory white buckets!! Agree with the bicolor 826M rims. Depends if you want a open, bright interior or darker, then Tartufo. OP remember that Tartufo has a cult like following around here.

What calipers? Either blue or black—no xmass red.

red calipers are great. It’s not any more xmas than your tail lights. Unless you black those out. Definitely not blue, it doesn't coordinate.

Yea I went blue. I also like blue for traditional M color.

Congrats! Picking the right color combo is the hardest part.

I went with black wheels, black interior, and blue calipers. Black interior is pretty boring I'll admit, but I have a toddler and figured anything else might get scuffed up. Sometimes I wish I went with Tartufo, but I'm happy with Black overall.

ok so final decision is Black full Merino. I wanted the white but worried with how it will age down the road with wrinkles etc. I love brown interior but the tartufo with the green just doesnt do it for me for whatever reason. I debated on white exterior with tartufo which i think works perfect. Also BSM with tartufo is amazing. The green with all the black accents lends itself to the black interior. Thanks for all the input and help sometimes just need others opinion to confirm my own. Cannot wait to get this bad boy!!

Ok so i lied. I have switched it back to Tartufo Full Leather and still with the IOMG. Was debating going to BSM with the tartufo cause black on brown is probably my favorite car color combo ever!! But with it being a flashy M3 i think the green will stand out. Thanks again! Cannot wait to get it!!

I have IOMG over Tartufo and love it. Tartufo is a terrific tone in daily life and very livable.

The one comment I would make on the combo is that IOMG get's a ton of attention. It's actually more than what I would prefer to the point where I have considered swapping to a more muted color. Just throwing that out there as it was much more than I expected and (for me) it borders on annoying at times.

On the other stuff:

I also have red calipers and think they look terrific - it is like your tail lights, there's no xmas tree vibe at all.

I vote the bicolor wheels for no reason other than if you eventually go aftermarket the resale on bicolor is better.

I have IOMG with Tartufo as well. Nothing beats green with tan interior. I was torn between black and bi-color wheels. Straw polls amongst my friends helped me choose the black wheels with black calipers. Plus it pissed my wife off, she wanted black wheels on her X5 and I didn’t let her do it. 😂

My build was originally scheduled for week 8, but I received info today it has been entered into the production queue, VIN was assigned, and it's anticipated to be completed by 2/21. It's running about 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
