Aussie G82 M4C - Dravit Grey / Carbon / Carbon Ceramics / AST Springs
Hi from Perth, Western Australia!
So I picked this new car up about 4 months ago, the backstory goes - I had a E92 M3 comp, which I absolutely loved. Received an offer to sell, made some money, and decided to jump into what was my grail car at the time - a 2018 RS6 Performance. Went stage 2/downpipes on the rs6, and immediately started running into mechanical issues. Car was off the road more than it was on, and I developed a deep hatred for it I missed the BMW, it was way more fun to drive day to day - and you could put your foot down without risking going to jail every time. The rs6 was just too much - so when this G82 came up at my local dealer, I negotiated a trade deal immediately. Car is highly spec'd - carbon exterior pack, carbon buckets, lasers, carbon ceramics. These australian cars as standard come with most of the good bits anyway that you americans have to option individually. Fell in love with the dravit grey/kylami combo - i think if i'd spec'd the car myself, i wouldnt have been brave enough to go orange. But in the flesh its an absolute winner. Plans for the car - i've fitted 12mm spacers all round (pirellis), i have an OEM CSL grille for the car ready to be fitted. KW HAS will be going on with a single midpipe and a front lip. I plan to keep it stock power wise until the warranty runs out in a year and then i'll look at tuning it. But for the time being, it has enough power. The rs6 was way too much - and i wont make that mistake again! Anyway, enjoy the photos, will update along the way. Happy Bimmering! Last edited by joshviiv; 03-05-2024 at 05:53 PM.. |

fit an OEM CSL grille last night!
Went very smoothly, nice to work on. Had a PDC error when we got it back down off the hoist, thankfully located a plug that hadnt quite seated in the guard so didnt have to take the bumper off again |

Finally got around to lowering this thing. Funny, its the first car i've lowered that actually FEELS lowered when you're sitting in it - probably due to the disgusting factory ride height being SO high
