🤦🏽‍♂️ This guy…we’re not eff’ing blind man…we can clearly see what’s going on here. Point being there are other tasteful ways to display large carbon exterior body panels and I think most would agree.

Good fit and finish is all that matters to most consumers. You don’t need to fully expose the carbon panels to display a product or do “marketing” or whatever. Visually, the car looks like it got into an accident or something and the owner didn’t finish paint work. 🤷🏽‍♂️IMO, it looks “cheap” but hey…to each their own.

So as the owner of the car. My personal preference is paint matched body panels. As my many well known builds over the years will prove. The car will actually see the paint booth over winter time.

But you’re simply wrong from a marketing standpoint it’s well proven the consumer wants to know exactly what they are getting. Especially in todays market where unfortantely the market is saturated with way too many poor quality products.

But hey, too each their own. We absolutely respect your opinion that you’re entitled to. Keep doing you, and we will do the same 🤙🏽

It’s okay. Tbh we welcome all critisism. It was never our goal to be a sheep while building a car.

We coulda done the same wheels, carbon, paint match scheme that everyone does and it would be nothing but positive comments from the haters with OEM+ builds.

Respectfully...I'm looking forward to seeing everything paint matched. I'm guessing you leave the vents on the hood and fenders exposed...maybe expose the trunk license plate area?

Yes, I agree on the market saturation of poor quality crap ie ebay and alibaba. Consumers want to see those panels fitting perfect like oem and carbon pieces have good quality in the weave, etc..

Correct, that’s the intent. Leave some carbon tastefully exposed. Haven’t decided the exact scheme but will decide before the time comes 🤙🏽

This is an awesome build and should be a track and drag race beast. Nice, I’m doing a 800wHP M440i build and went that route because I wanted a single turbo. The sound must be awesome.

This is wild. What a build! You don't see these kind of builds on 6MT. This had to cost a fortune. No SSK? I have always flirted wjth the idea of getting one but never went through with it. Would love to know what it feels like. Same with the UCP.
