I went to the dealership just to buy a touch-up pencil, but seeing these two combos made me fall in love! the seller tells me that matte white is much more maintenance? And I think I'm going to take my time and order a 2025. My wife prefers chalk grey.

I don't think it's so much as 'more' maintenance as you'll have to unlearn some stuff and use different products. I like the orange interior a little more, but if you can wait it's +20hp and you can pick exactly what you want. Grabbing a 2024 off the floor could mean a decent discount though. Tough choice

Problem with Frozen paint is repair is going to require a completely new part/refinishing, that's the "more maintenance" the person was referring to. If you full car matte PPF immediately, you'll have less issues from things like rock chips and small scratches.

That being said, the Chalk still being individual, the red interior, the carbon pack, looks like it's very well optioned, I'd go with that 100%.

They don’t want 24’s on the floor with 25’s coming. Also still not convertible weather so you should be able to manage a pretty good discount.

As far as the 25’s, you won’t be able to tell the HP difference other than on a dyno, maybe. I do like the Alcantara flat bottom wheel but hate the new headlights. None of these would be enough for me to hold off until the 25’s come out.

100% Chalk and Fiona? That was the other combo I was considering but went for the IOMG and Tartufo. That Chalk would be stunning and as others have said, I would start the negotiation at 10-12% off MSRP unless others have different opinions?

Negociation ? Here in Canada there is no reduction like in the USA. the only thing I will have is a loyalty discount, it would be my 6th BMW but I would have to be peanuts ☹️

Just an FYI, no one knows about allocations until they actually get them, so any promises are empty. I would just find another dealer with an allocation, but I really would try and see what you can do about these floor models. They're ready to be taken home and you can probably get a bigger discount with them sitting on the lot. As well, the 2025 loses things like Laser Lights and the better looking headlights.
