Just curious if anyone has got a recent allocation for a 21 base m3 MT
been waiting myself for one since April 16 I’m going crazy lol

If we don't get out allocations this month I guess it's dead for a 2021 ?

Think so; not even sure if you get an allocation this month it would be for MY21; depends on build week I guess.

I’m going on 60 days waiting. It’s brutal.

I saw someone with a start of production date of 26 June so I guess the EOP is really last week of June.

Unless they extend in July but I think that as never been seen..

Why would you want a MY21 build at this point as MY22 allocations (July builds for August delivery) are coming out in 10 days?

P.s. I wouldn't wait around for a dealer to get an allocation. You should email all the dealers within 500 miles of you and ask if they have a M3 Base allocation in hand and then, only if they do, what discount they are willing to offer?

22 loses 1 year/20k km of free maintenance here in Canada, also speculation of a price increase.

I don't think any 22 will be built in June, I taught they start in July. SA told me I would get my 21 end of July, beginning of August.

I thought there were still some comp allocations floating around, or even pre-built without a mark-up. Base seems much harder to find, but I thought comp wasn't terrible. Have you asked around a few places?

BMW does tend to increase the base price $1K each year. But your car will also be more valuable when you go to sell it.

You're right there are no MY22 built in June. MY21 production runs through the end of June (and get delivered in July/August). MY22 production starts in July (and gets delivered in August/September).

A local dealer told me on Tuesday that he could get a G80 6MT allocation by trading his competition allocation with another dealer. I'm not holding my breath though. It has been two days and he has not come through yet.

I’m guessing if we don’t get a allocation for a 21 build soon it will take even longer to get a 22 allocation

I know there were some allocations but I got 7% off MSRP and base MF. I’m not going to find a better deal and I don’t NEED the car right now so I can wait. I just WANT the car right now.

I put in my order for a M4 6MT on 3/22 in SoCal, been patiently waiting for an allocation or production number since. I was told its in the order bank status 047, no one is ahead of me, and all the delays are related to the chip shortages.

It's crazy how quiet it's gotten. There used to be a ton of "I got my production number, build scheduled for xx" type posts, those have been practically non-existent recently

Allocations come out once a month, I’ve read.
I know of two dealers local to me with assignable allocations.
