Hey Guys. Just got a glimpse of my new skyscraper Grey G80cx at the dealer today. Going to take delivery this week. After seeing it I thought a full stealth PPF might look awesome. Anyone have any pics? The wife is asking for some pics before she gives me the go ahead. Haha

Here are some pics:

The last one is my outgoing F82. Kinda sad but excited as well!

Go back to page 51 of this thread. You’ll see Stinkyweasel stealth PPF’ed theirs. Looks a bit like FPG if that’s what you’re going for. For me personally, I love the dynamic/chrome look, so I think stealth takes away from that.

Thanks. I like that look also but was contemplating shaking it up. My installer just quoted me $7000 and a week without my new car. Sooo nope. Front wrap and tint is what it will be.

yea, that’s a bit steep, but not unheard of in the us. i got mine for 4300 in Germany.

I’m with you. I had a frozen dark grey build made as I was waiting for an allocation. Then BMW took my dreams away. SSG is such a dynamic color in person though.

I’m trying to decide on just frontal PPF (+ ceramic) vs a “track pack” that gets some other high impact areas (fenders/mirror caps). Think for an extra 1K, it might be worth it, but I keep going back and forth. I’m adding the carbon mud flaps to the front, so hopefully that will minimize rock chips on the sides.

I was wondering if the side skirts can/should be done? I’m worried that they might get banged up over time and could look like ass after a couple years.

Yup, I think so too. I left my g83 stock, and the black trim doesn’t look all that great after a year.

Took the plunge and got lucky on eBay, managed to get the M Performance splitter from a dealer eBay store and the M Performance diffuser for a very decent price!

All fitted at Motech UK along with eibach springs, spacers, carbon arch guards and a carbon duck tail spoiler.

The stance and front end is so much better now.

Next steps are to add the inlets on the bumper and possibly add either the vorsteiner grille or csl, still undecided 🤔

Driving to Barcelona next week from the UK to watch the F1! Will get some proper pics then! Can’t get enough of this colour though!!

Here you go, just had them put on today along with my break in service. The top of them reflect black because of the diffuser.
