"Hyundai G80 M3"
I had a good laugh at this: the Hyundai G80 M3
Hats off to Biermann

The car’s cosmetic is definitely not my cup of tea, however the feedback on the driving dynamics is a testament to Biermann’s contribution. Hint: weight went down significantly.

The engineering or the styling?

I am not sure Biermann has much influence on the styling... But it still amazing the influence only one man can have on engineering and driving dynamics. I would not consider a Hyundai or Kia regardless at this stage, but if they are becoming better driver's cars, kudos to them .

While I won't buy a Genesis G80 myself even if I'm in the market for a midsize luxury sedan, I appreciate what KIA & Hyundai are doing and where they're going.
With an x-Audi designer (Schreyer) and x-BMW performance lead (Biermann) they've been transforming their brand. The Stinger, i30N, Veloster N, Telluride, Palisade, G70/80, GV70/80, etc. are all great cars for what they are. They're also on the right track with electrification so their future is bright.

More Players and the better the products get. I hope Hyundai keeps it up and continues with that, it's nice to see them coming up. And I do like the I30N, it looks good and gives a lot for it's price. |
