No wonder my F80 is very stiff when their "bad surface" development road that they've showed in the video has basically no potholes or undulations.

Most likely old footage, however wishful thinking could be contingency plan/backup option. Product launches often have "Plan B" in the early prototype stages. Here’s to Plan B!

In a years time, everyone will love this unique grill... not the old one from the video, but the actual one. Once the knee-jerk reactions are over, it should be evident how stunning the car is. My prediction, for what it's worth.

In the video it showed two different vehicles with these two rear ends so the "newer" mule was in the video as well. Interesting they only showed that front end. This is tremendous trolling by BMW if the M3 comes with the enlarged grills.

I agree. Remember the original vs revamped LCI taillights debate on the F80? :

6 interesting minutes on engineering and driving driving dynamics... and all people on this forum can talk about is the front grill. Sigh.

It's sarcasm. Of course, everyone is interested in motor and technology. But the body design worries everyone to a greater extent.

Looks like regular 3 series grill on top, but if you look closely at 1:27 mark, it clearly shows split grill on lower section like new 4.

I can't believe that there are actually still people who think that the M3 will not get the big grill. Do you actually know what an effort is invested in the construction and qualification of a front bumper. It would be far too expensive to offer different front bumpers for the two vehicles.
The vehicle shown in the video is clearly an older test vehicle which does not have the final bodywork components. Don't get any false hopes and try to get used to the new look. At least the BMW models are now more different again, not like Mercedes or Audi. |
