As far as I can tell, mine is still sitting at the port. Guess there’s a line for port install accessories. While the anticipation is killing me, I’m hoping the delay is long enough for good weather to roll in. My last new car I took delivery and drove home in a complete downpour. It looks like spring might finally return late next week. Hopefully, I’ll be taking delivery right around the same time.

My dealer booked the sale for March. I am approved for BMW Tier 1 financing 5.29% @ 60 months + $2500 military rebate. At this point it's weather driven. I will sort the paperwork on Thursday or Friday and take delivery on Saturday. If it looks better earlier then I will move it up. I am salivating at this point.

Nice. If you don't mind, can I ask what is the process for the $2500 military rebate. I'm a member of Navy Federal and verified on ID.me (my father was in the army) but the BMWUSA site says you need a code and I don't' see where to get that on ID.me. Does the dealership process this for you by you confirming you on ID.me?

In the the link below BMW generates the code through ID.me. In the process you can chose a dealer to send the code to. I also copied it and sent it to my SA.

thanks it doesn't pop up with a code when I push the "verify"button but when I looked at the "address" bar and it shows a customer ID and offer code that I now recall I had gotten in November 2023 but never did anything with it. M3 didn't pop up as an option for the offer so I'm hoping just this code will work (I requested under the 3 series and took a screenshot of it in November after scrolling through my pics). I will send it to my sales advisor

Mine was offloaded Monday or Tuesday this week, and flipped to "in transit" on Friday.

mine was on the same boat i called bmw genius today and i was told it was on a trucking carrier heading to the dealer. can i expect pick up as early as tomorrow i would love to get a call from my SA today.

Thanks - I can’t get over the color! The anticipation was killing me too…a few too many texts to my broker asking “is it here?” or “any photos?”

Good god that color is amazing. I feel like I am Mugatu looking at Magnum. I thought about Thundernight metallic but at the end of the day the opportunity cost was too high. I had to "sacrifice for the children" and settle for BG. For the next one the kids should be just about done with college and then I can go hog wild - individual color, carbon exterior and full leather. Too broad for carbon buckets & almost for the sport seats too.

The car finally showed up in My Garage as At The Dealer (even though its been there) - just have to finalize the trade in and settle up to take Delivery Saturday. Weather is still terrible this week.

Unfortunately, mine is still at the port. According to BMW Genius, my car was scheduled to be sent out yesterday but either the status hasn’t yet updated or they’re running behind. Maybe their techs aren’t that adept at installing the sport suspension.

On a side note, while I never imagined having a purple car, that techno violet is freaking fire, especially with the silverstone interior! Enjoy!

Thanks! I never thought of having a purple car either. I was all in for getting a green M4, then I saw Techno Violett in a few photos and I was sold. Pictures don’t even do the color justice - it is that good!
