Looks great. BMW Annapolis has 1-M3 and 3-M4's. I'll have to go take a look at them this week. It would be a lot of fun, especially after seeing yours.

Hope this helps.
Are you serious about this? All season tires? On such a car? You know that BMW did a lot of research/development with 2 or 3 tyre manufacturers to develop tires for these M cars? All season tyres are better than some years ago but never forseen I don't see them on M cars. Would be great to have some feedback how they are in heavy rain situations.

But I can understand that you don't want 3 sets of tires at home.

The whole car is standing out. Some will also order M340i in black. It doesn't matter. That's why the changed the whole look of the M3 compared to the standard 3 series. If you need the color to show others that you have an M it might be a mindset thing...

Congrats OP. Great Color. The last picture on your first post almost didnt seem real to me. I immediately thought someone photoshopped a WRX and M3 together

Enjoy your rides ... even after Day 2 of driving it... i know I am glad I took the cold plunge with nothing more than faith in BMW M that they iterate on feedback and use the Nürburgring to extract as much as they can with the technology available today.

Thanks for all the kind words and wishes, there are enough options for everyone based upon their budget, their priorities, and how they will practically use their vehicle.. either for looks or for full on track/racing. Its a new foundation, and I look forward to the inspiring pictures of what others do to their future cars....
Congrats on your new car! What dealer in MD? I work in SS and got my F80 there so just curious what dealers in the DMV have em.

I feel like it looks different in every picture, seems to change quite a bit depending on the lighting. I'll definitely try to see it in person first.

Honestly for OEM and considering installation costs. I think the CF exterior package is not bad at all

I believe the front air ducts are around $500 each = $1000
Mirror caps lets say $600 ea = $1200
Rear Spoiler = $800
Massive rear diffuser= $1,500 - $2,000

(not actual prices, guesstimates)

So give or take a total of around $4,500 - $5,000 .

For BMW OEM, installed and ready to go. Why Not ?

Now obviously if you only want 1 or 2 pieces, going aftermarket is a much better decision. Or just buy the pieces individually from BMW

You bring it to the point...
The price is totally justified, and if people think BMW is going to give away such things as free goodies...please.
Carbon Fibre is hell of expensive in production.

And you are right, if you f.E. only want the front intakes it's better to go aftermarket, especially as BMW will offer this pieces seperately (or you buy non OEM stuff, I for myself prefer OEM stuff).

I'd say your estimates are pretty spot on. But for me, $800 for an undersized spoiler I would replace anyway makes no sense. I got an aftermarket for my 2018 and you couldn't tell the difference between it and the roof, $200 installed myself. A bit more for the rear diffuser, but FAR less than $2k. Wouldn't pay $1200 for the side mirror CF pieces so if I really wanted those, I'd look later on. Now for the two front air ducts, yes if I could do just those for $1k I'd check that box, especially since I don't know how easy (or hard) the install would be.

To each his own, guys. But those with the extra funds that could care less about $4700, want OEM, and don't want to bother with it later, I respect that. But I'd rather at least look at the options and not be forced to get all the included pieces at that cost. Let's just leave it at that. I shouldn't have hijacked the OP's thread and lovely car with this crap anyway.
