Dream Build: Velvet Blue & Tartufo Individual G80 M3 w/ Matching Wheels

I can't believe all the posts criticizing the OP's choice in wheel color. We are all BMW brothers and sisters here. The old adage is "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" applies.

My new wheels go on next week and I plan to post photos. I can hardly wait for the outrage at my ugly new wheels.

If I am understanding the OP's post, this was not a factory special order color for the rims; the dealership probably found a local paint shop to do the work for the OP. The sky is the limit!

Correct, this was not a factory option, but a dealer addon.

However they did the matching and painting in-house.

I have one question, it’s true the MY23 models have cheaper materials?
The sound deading in front wheel arch is different plastic only ?

I don't know about the sound-deadening, but I can tell you there's been a couple deletions due to cost-cutting for MY23.

Things I know:
- Individual leather no longer gets Individual floor mats with matching leather piping. You get 318i mats.
- Extended leather no longer gets matching door cards. Only the seats are colored. You have to step up to Individual leather to get matching door cards, or go full leather on regular colors.
- The "M3 Competition" badge from the center console was deleted.
- The Interior door sills now say "M3" for all M3 models. Competition models used to get different door sills that said "M3 Competition".
