Those of you that have had full leather in the past, is it worth the price?

My interior also has the upper have of the dash covered in black leather, but I am not sure if that is because of the extended leather or another standalone option with naming like 'leather dash', nor do I know if that is an option for these M3/M4. Most cars have this area as a standard rubbery material, some cars have a faux leather covering the upper dash, some have genuine leather, I believe mine is genuine. |

So I built one just for kicks.
$84,050 (...before any hook-ups/price reduction). Considering my current Nardo Gray Individual M4 had an $82k MSRP without cool options like carbon buckets, I don't think the pricing is bad at all. If I were to subtract that option, the new car would be right in line with the old one as far as MSRP is concerned. |

Here is mine. 6MT/4doors.
Only options are CF interior trim and black paint. I am still considering CF bucket seats, but this will be a family car, not sure how my wife will like them. If I had to order today I would go with standard seats. |

Wonder if you could get them to put 19s all around instead of 19/20. Would rather the option to rotate tires

- Use the rear wheels from the standard 824M setup and the front wheels from the upgrade 825M or 826M setup. That would leave you with mismatched wheel styles which few if any would accept. - Put the 824M rear wheels on both the front and back. That would likely mean improper offset up front. It would probably alter the geometry slightly as well which is not likely something BMW would agree to for a car they built you. So, no, you are not going to get 19” wheels all around from the factory. However wheels are easy to change so your dealership or another shop would be more than happy to install an aftermarket set or perhaps four rear 824M if that is found to work acceptably. |

This is probably the first Gen of M3 that I waited till this long to create a build online on the visualizer.
Usually it's done as soon as it was available in any country. I guess that speaks volume of my enthusiasm. Regardless there aren't many choices out there for this type of vehicle. The Gulia would be the closest but have no confidence in their quality. Furthermore this might be the first M car available with an available carbon roof that I would consider going with sunroof instead as it already weighs around 3900 lbs. It's unfortunate that BMW totally gave up on saving weight, going with ZF auto instead DCT etc. I'm assuming they are allocating as much funds towards electrification and deservedly so but they could've utilized existing technology in the current cars and made some effort in keeping the M ethos. |

The bigger issue is that you now have comically skinny real wheels. I didn’t consider this a realistic approach, although I suppose the same could be said about the mismatched wheel styles route that I mentioned.
Maybe it would be a decent winter setup, but for summer? If you are going to change the width of your rear wheels you want to go wider. |

My G80 build would similar to my F80 but does necessitate more options: 1. Color (maybe - my current F80 is alpine but I got it for a steal) 2. CF trim 3. Buckets 4. Possibly full leather (only option I kinda of wish my F80 has that it doesn't but would have been hard to justify the price) 5. ZCP style wheels 6. Extended shadow line trim (free) Personally I don't really want cameras + tech in my cars as they quickly get outdated and break more often than mechanical bits and bobs. I mean the executive package or parking assistance package in a M3? Heated steering wheel (because most people will be driving their M3's in sub 40 degree weather...not), power tailgate (really are we that lazy now), gesture controls (useless), different lights, etc. - come on what a waste of money. Some people like HUDs so I could see that being of value to someone (I am already annoyed at the digital dash). I am personally only going to jump in this generation if (1) my F80 breaks or is wrecked or (2) they bring the wagon with a stick stateside. |

Well, I'm officially on the wait list, put down a deposit to hold my place seeing as you can't order AWD yet. I'd be the first AWD M3 at this dealership, and it'll be a comp package. It's a guess, but he doesn't think we'll be able to submit the order till March, and another guess, get the car June. I wouldn't be surprised if it was September. (Dealership, largest in CO, has 3 orders for RWD M3/4's).
I did the preliminary build-out with them, and here's my break out. I went with the frozen white (my prior F80 was mineral white, and my X5M is alpine... and the wife's X3MC is alpine white): Base MSRP 2021 M3 Competition Sedan - $72,800 Frozen Brilliant White metallic - $3,600 19"/20" M Double-spoke black wheels, style 826M, w/perf non run-flat tires — Yas Marina Blue/Black Extended Merino Leather with Yellow Accent — Carbon Fiber trim - $950 Options Executive Package - $3,000 Parking Assistance Package - $800 Extended Shadowline Trim Deletion — M carbon bucket seats - $3,800 Individual shadowline lights - $300 |

Perhaps it is because those are only RWD? It's also my understanding that they were orders. Not pre. I know I could have taken one of the dealerships orders, immediately, if I wanted RWD.
