I believe the logbook is now maintained in motorsport reg as well. Different chapters use different methods of logging and tracking student progress unfortunately.

If it's not too late, I thought our cars were limited to 155, and the M-deluxe Driver's Professional Extreme Package made it unlimited.

I'll suggest that 155 is plenty. I think the fastest I've done is 140 at VIR and I just don't like the amount of time, distance and effort it takes to slow down from those speeds... plus if something bad happens, it's going to be extremely bad.

If you plan to routinely do those kinds of speeds, then you need to seriously think about a cage, proper restraints, etc.

I used to race motorcycles and at some tracks we exceeded 150 every lap. But truth be told I am older, wiser and far more fragile now, so if I am going to track cars regularly it would require a dedicated car that is streetable given my sparse garage space.
